IBloon’s code almost works, but it comes out like so:

by /ddub-template.php?ddub=’, ‘350′, ‘600′

Am guessing as to what his code should replace as that is missing from his posts? But I’m in the right general area it seems…

When users post on a blog I manage, the WP theme (Cutline) places the date of the post and the poster’s byline in a nice, prominent place. (Example: http://spart7.info/techblog/?p=480)

The byline link seems to derive from the Nickname and any URL the user may put in the web site field in the contact info section of their profile.

I would like to rig that to make the byline link point to the bio popup instead of web site field in the user profile. Think that is doable?

Hello, how to use first name and last name instead of the nickname search. Cause I use names like Sonia Janelle. and don’t look for uppercase of the first letter in the name. I use the full name as User ID. Not the Nickname in the profiles member area to be display.

Hey and thank you for the nice plugin.
However, the word “nice” here is for complimentation matter, not as a matter of fact

I installed the plugin on my WP 2.7.1. My blog’s primary language is Arabic, and so are the nicknames of the authors.

The plugin didnt work for me. I installed it, made authors dolfer and placed inside it photos of the authors that comply with the photos’ conditions.But the plugin never works and the atuhors’ names are never turned into “links”. Even after changing the nicknames into something in English (which I thought the cause), it still doesnt work . What could the reason be ?

Can the plugin pickup author bio content from an URL instead of “About yourself”? In other words, can it just simply display the content of an URL instead?

The User Bio Popup plugin make me this error into the popup window:

Dear admin,

If you could spend a couple minutes to help me with this please… in this page of mine with your plugin in effect, http://veggyplease.com/?page_id=45, the nickname Mr White… opens the correct pop-up bio but the hover text gives the title for Mr Green (another user) instead of Mr White. It shouldn’t work like that should it?
