This is pretty neat. But it is amusing how people want you to keep adding more and more for this simple, free idea.

i hope your website will be known all around the world!

I think you could had a category like “why are you using freetexthost?”
for me, it’s for my “rapport de stage” (training document in english??), I edit it at work and at home to. and the limk is in my webmail, so it’s easy for me to edit it wherever i am, i don’t need any usb key

I hope my comment is usefull.

I did not mean I would change it so things get automatically deleted. I do not ever plan on doing that.

I meant that you would just have the option of setting this if you wanted to.

I am still planning ideas for the site as well.

No, I’m not agree with Mark!!!
Because text files are not heavy, so it will be not very usefull for you, and for us, if we don’t read our text during 3 month, deleted? oh no! Please stay like now, or, if you want, add BBcode, why not!
But please, don’t delete files, i’m sure you hate when you find what you were looking for, and finally, the content is deleted… please i’m in love with your service, don’t change it…

I’d like to be able to return the random page name to the pool explicitly rather than leave it there for millions of years (or when this service ceases – whichever is sooner! )

Unless you make this period really short (1month) by default and impose some modest upper limit(3years say) for an explicit user setting, the feature might feel too transient or become populated mostly with never visited pages (no click-revenue)

There is now an option for a ‘viewing password’. If you set one, visitors will have to enter it to view your text.
